A downloadable game

I am currently working on a tabletop game that combines elements of classic RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons with Economic and Resource Management games like Catan. Inspired by classic horror movies from the 80s, players take on the role of either the cunning killer, or the clever survivors trying to escape their clutches. Survivors must outrun and outmaneuver the Killer while they complete tasks to progress in their scary story. Players can choose from one of several classic 80s movie archetypes for their character, like Cheerleader or Nerd for Survivors and Slasher or Nightmare for Killers. Both types of players have unique abilities that can be used during the story to help them succeed.   More updates will be posted as development progresses. This is a DEMO not the final product! It's still a work in progress.

Install instructions

Tips for download:

  1. Print Survivor and Killer file assets on different colored cardstock to avoid confusion.
  2. When printing board tiles and inventory cards, use "Shrink to Fit" in the Printer Options to avoid cutoffs.
  3. You will need to cut out the character avatars (the 1x4 tiles with the faces that say "fold" on the center lines) and glue them into triangular pieces. 

Game Tips:

  1. The ideal game setup is 4 players: 3 Survivors and 1 Killer. I wouldn't recommend exceeding 5 Survivors in one game. 
  2. Inventory cover tiles (the 1x1 tiles with the cat, pumpkin, etc) can be used for whatever items you want, there's no direct correlation between the symbols and the items at this time.
  3.  Have a coin and a timer handy for some gameplay mechanics.
